What is Black Friday? Well it originated in the USA and is the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States (the fourth Thursday of November), often regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. In recent years, most major retailers have opened very early and offered promotional sales to kick off the holiday shopping season, similar to Boxing Day sales in many other countries but it is not a US holiday.

Next Black Friday is Friday 27th November 2015, look out for deals online starting Saturday 21st November 2015, these are the run up offers from stores to get the early purchasers.

What is Cyber Monday? Cyber Monday is a marketing term for the Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. The term “Cyber Monday” was created by marketing companies to persuade people to shop online. The term made its debut on November 28, 2005, in a Shop.org press release entitled “‘Cyber Monday Quickly Becoming One of the Biggest Online Shopping Days of the Year”.

The next Cyber Monday is Monday 30th November 2015!

Initially Black Friday was about electrical goods being heavily discounted but Cyber Monday has seen the biggest growth in sales for Clothes and Shoes! Again, many offers from retailers selling clothes and shoes will continue throughout the week starting Cyber Monday.
